Section 28G
Duties and powers of Board. [S 61/2012]
The Board of a registered society shall —
(a)
represent the registered society before all competent public authorities and in all dealings and transactions with third party;

(b)
have power to institute or defend suits brought in the name of the registered society;
(c)
in general, direct, manage and supervise the business, the funds and the property of the registered society; and
(d)
exercise all the necessary powers to ensure the full and proper administration and management of the affairs, business or activities of the registered society including business or activities of the registered society as required under the rules, except these powers reserved for the general meeting of members or delegates.
