Section 31
This Part does not apply to —
(a)
the taking of a child or young person into the care, custody or control of a grandparent, a brother or sister of the whole or half-blood or either of his parents;
(b)
the taking of a child or young person into the care, custody or control of his guardian;

(c)
the taking of a child or young person into the care, custody or control of any person in pursuance of an order of a court or in pursuance of an order under the Women and Girls Protection Act
(Chapter 120);
(d)
the taking in of a child or young person as a resident of a place of safety, school or hospital, or a home or institution maintained by the Government;
(e)
the taking in of a child or young person as a boarder at a school registered under any written law relating to education;
(f)
the taking of a child or young person who is regularly attending a school registered under any written law relating to education into the custody of a friend or relative of his guardian, with the consent of his guardian.
