Application for self-accreditation status on invitation
of Brunei Darussalam National Accreditation Council Act
(1)
Upon an invitation of the Minister, an application by a higher education provider for self-accreditation status may be made to the Council in such form and manner as may be prescribed.
(2)
The Council, after having considered an application under subsection (1) and conducted an institutional audit, may grant the application and issue a letter of self-accreditation status to the higher education provider.
(3)
The Council may, at the time of or at any time after issuing a letter of self-accreditation status under subsection (2), impose such conditions as it may consider necessary or expedient and may amend any such conditions or impose new conditions.
(4)
This Chapter does not apply to any professional programme or professional qualification referred to in Chapter 2.
