Application for accreditation
of Brunei Darussalam National Accreditation Council Act
(1)
An application by a higher education provider for the accreditation of its programme, qualification or education consultancy which complies with the Framework, other than the programme, qualification or education consultancy under Chapters 2, 4 and 5, shall be made to the Council —
(a)
within a specified period; and
(b)
in such form and manner, as it may determine.
(2)
Every application shall be accompanied by such documents and information as the Council may determine.
(3)
The form, manner and documents required under subsections (1)
and (2) may differ between different programmes or qualifications.

(4)
At any time after receiving an application for accreditation and before it is determined, the Council may by written notice require the higher education provider to provide additional documents and information within a specified period.
(5)
Where the additional documents and information required under subsection (4) are not provided by the higher education provider within the specified period or such extended period as may be allowed by the Council, the application is deemed to be withdrawn without prejudice to the right of the higher education provider to submit a fresh application.
