Powers of Secretariat
of Brunei Darussalam National Accreditation Council Act
(1)
The Secretariat shall have the power to do all things expedient or reasonable for and incidental to the carrying out of its functions.
(2)
The powers of the Secretariat shall include power —
(a)
to undertake, coordinate or commission any person to undertake or coordinate activities relating to research and development on matters relating to quality assurance;

(b)
to enter into negotiations, agreements or arrangements for the discharge of its functions; and
(c)
to do all things reasonably necessary for the performance of its duties.
(3)
The secretary shall perform the functions and exercise the powers of the Secretariat, and the functions and powers so performed and exercised shall be in the name of the Council.
