Section 97
(1)
Where, by this Act, the time limited for doing any act or thing is less than 3 days, in reckoning time non-business days shall be excluded.
(2)
“Non-business days” for the purposes of this Act means —
(a)
bank holidays;
(b)
public holidays; and
(c)
in the case of bills other than Brunei Darussalam bills or bills prescribed by the Minister under the proviso to section 14(a)(i),
Saturday.
(3)
Any other day is a business day.
