Section 20
(1)
An authorised officer may, by notice in writing, require any person whom he believes to be acquainted with the facts and circumstances of the case to -
(a)
attend before him for examination;
(b)
produce before him any movable property, record, report or document; or
(c)
furnish him a statement in writing setting out such information as he may require.
(2)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $20,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or both, and in the case of a continuing offence, to a further fine not exceeding $2,000 for each day during which the offence continues after conviction.
