Section 67

The Authority may issue such directions or make such regulations concerning any person or any class of person as the Authority considers necessary for the prevention of the financing of terrorism.

Any person or any member of a class of person who fails or refuses to comply with any direction issued under subsection (1), or contravenes any regulations made under that subsection, is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $1,000,000 and in the case of a continuing 646

offence, to a further fine of $100,000 for every day during which the offence continues after conviction.
