Section 59
{1) Any person who in Brunei Darussalam, and any citizen of Brunei
Darussalam who outside Brunei Darussalam, has -
(a)
possession, custody or control of any property which to his knowledge is terrorist property; or for which there are reasonable grounds to believe or suspect is terrorist property;
(b} possession, custody or control of any property belonging to any terrorist or any terrorist entity; or
{c) information which he knows or suspects to concern any transaction or proposed transaction in respect of any property belonging to any terrorist or any terrorist entity, shaH immediately inform the Commissioner of Police and any such other person as the Minister may designate of that fact or information and provide such further 643
BRUNEI DARUSSALAM GOVERNMENT GAZETTE information relating to the property, transaction or proposed transaction as the
Commissioner of Police or such designated person may require.
(2)
Any person who fails to disclose the information immediately to the
Commissioner of Police or such designated person is guilty of an offence and
Liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $50,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding 5 years or both.
(3)
No criminal or civil proceedings shall lie against a person for any disclosure made in good faith under this section.
(4)
A person who makes a disclosure in good faith under this section shall not be treated as being in breach of any restriction upon the disclosure of information imposed by law, contract or rules of professional conduct.
