Section 3
(1)
His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan may, by notification published in the Gazette, appoint a person to be the Authority for the purposes of this Act.
(2)
The Authority may authorise or appoint any person to assist in the exercise of his powers, duties and functions under this Act, either generally or in any particular case.
(3)
Any person authorised or appointed by the Authority under subsection (2) is deemed to be a public servant for the purposes of the
Penal Code (Chapter 22).
