Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the International Transfer of Prisoners !Malaysia)
Order, 2023 and shall commence on 2nd September 2023.
Interpretation
In this Order, "Treaty" means the agreement between the Government of
His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and the
Government of Malaysia on the international transfer of prisoners.
Designated country
Malaysia is designated as a country to which the International Transfer of
Prisoners Order, 2011 jS 35/2011) applies, subject to such limitations, conditions, exceptions, adaptations or modifications provided by the Treaty.
