Customs (ASEAN Common Effective Preferential Tariff) (ASEAN Integration System of Preference) Order, 2006

This Order may be cited as the Customs (ASEAN Common Effective

Preferential Tariff) (ASEAN Integration System of Preferences) Order, 2006.

Prescribed countries and their preferential tariff rates.

1973 (S 34/73) and the Customs (ASEAN Common Effective Preferential Tariff)

Order, 2005 (S 78/05), there shall be levied in respect of the specified Association of South-East Asian Nations (ASEAN) member countries and the goods and products imported from such member countries a special preferential tariff at the rates specified in the respective Schedules for that particular member country.

Deemed country of origin of goods.

For the purpose of paragraph 2, goods shall be deemed to have originated from and to have been consigned direct from such a member country where they conform with the Rules of Origin annexed to the Agreement on ASEAN Common

Effective Preferential Tariff (CEPT) Scheme for the ASEAN Free Trade Area

(AFTA).
