This Declaration may be cited as the Bandar Seri Begawan Municipal Board
(Boundaries of Municipal Board Area) Declaration, 2008 and shall be deemed to have commenced on the 1st. August, 2007.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN MUNICIPAL BOARD
(BOUNDARIES OF MUNICIPAL BOARD AREA) DECLARATION, 2008
Opening note
This Declaration may be cited as the Bandar Seri Begawan Municipal Board
(Boundaries of Municipal Board Area) Declaration, 2008 and shall be deemed to have commenced on the 1st. August, 2007.
Boundaries of Municipal Board Area.
The Municipal Board area of the Bandar Seri Begawan Municipal Board for the purposes of the Act is hereby declared to be the areas described in the
Schedule.
Continuation of certain applications and proceedings.
Any application for a permit or licence made under the Miscellaneous
Licences Act (Chapter 127] which was pending and had not been concluded immediately prior to the commencement of this Declaration shall be continued as if this Declaration had not been made.

Any enforcement proceedings made under the Town and Country
Planning (Development Control) Act (Chapter 143) which were pending and had not been concluded immediately prior to the commencement of this Declaration shall be continued as if this Declaration had not been made.
Areas in Development Control Area.
Any area referred to in paragraph 2 of this Declaration which immediately prior to the commencement of this Declaration has been declared by the Minister of Development under section 3( 1) of the Town and Country Planning
(Development Control) Act (Chapter 143) to be in a Development Control Area shall, as from such commencement, cease to be in such Development Control
Area.

Enabling power.
The Minister may give such directions in any matter, any class of matter or generally as he may consider necessary or expedient to meet any difficulty arising from the construction of paragraph 3.
Revocation of S 10/57.
The Brunei Town (Municipal Board Area) Notification, 1956 is revoked.
